Developer Aldar Properties has introduced ‘The Cedars’ as part of its Yas Acres golf and waterfront development in Abu Dhabi. The company emphasizes that this project is centered around nature and aligns with its vision to cultivate distinctive communities within the Yas Acres master plan. Upon completion, the new community will feature 1,315 townhouses and villas along the northern shores of Yas Island. Construction is already in progress, with the first 652 homes expected to be handed over in 2019. Aldar highlights numerous amenities for residents, including landscaped parks, running and cycling tracks, shaded pathways, indoor and outdoor gyms, and community pool areas, along with playgrounds, swimming pools, sports facilities, and barbecue areas within each villa cluster. The development will also include a Golf and Country Club, with plans for a waterfront apartment district featuring retail shops and dining establishments in the future. Additionally, there will be two school plots, already secured by a local investment firm, making the community well-suited for families. Conveniently located mosques will also be integrated along the avenues, fulfilling an essential aspect of community living.
